Mission Statement:

Mission Statement: To create a sustainable garden for the students of the Little Miami School District. The garden will coordinate classroom instruction with hands on activity to reinforce learning. Students will gain appreciation for naturally grown food and be more acceptable to eating fresh vegetables. Students will also acquire the knowledge and skills to develop a garden at home.

We are in need of summer volunteers to weed and water the gardens at Salem & Intermediate schools. Please contact Tawnia Cecardo, tcecardo at gmail dot com if you can help. 1 person is needed at each bullding Monday through Friday, unless someone wants a weekend instead of weekday.

We have partnered with Granny's Garden School for another wonderful fundraiser. Our school garden program will receive 20% of your proceeds on Saturday, May 4, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. You must present this coupon at checkout.
In addition, as long as supplies last, each child that accompanies the adult presenting the coupon will receive a free cherry tomato plant!

Join us at Panther Fest Saturday, February 9 at Little Miami High School from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

We will have a booth at the event where you can learn more about our garden projects and sign up to volunteer. We will also have a Natorp's gift card raffle along with a basket of potted flowers.
